We take our obsession for bikes for seriously. Charities, events, schools, places where the bike is being celebrated and we can help out. Look for our work stands and our tool boxes at these great events and through these organizations.
Biking events are all about fun. Seeing good friends and sharing that which we love — the Bike. At Obsession: Bikes we are ‘all in’ with events. You will see us at: Ride to Work Week celebration stations, Bike to School week events, NSMBA Fivers, Bike Demos, BC Bike Race, The Ride to Conquer Cancer, Gran Fondo(s)…
Group rides are an opportunity to share where we love to ride. Tuesday night is our mountainbike night. At 6pm (in season) we gather and car pool to the trail head. We generally break into two groups: Rippers and Explorers. Rippers are into blasting hot laps and Explorers are looking for the old school trails and technical challenges. Locations vary but the theme is the same.
Our road group gathers on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Wednesday’s group ride heads out at 6:10pm and is divided into those that have been group riding before or new riders looking to learn. Saturday’s ride typically leaves around 8am and goes for 2 hours in the early season, progressively building to 4 hours mid-summer.
Organizations & events we support
We live in a truly incredible place but many folks are in need of a leg up. We support many schools and organizations with the hope of sharing that which we love — the bike.
